Cover for ER 5 song demo released in 1986- we wrote this music with a heavy dose of Nasty Savage's first album and Celtic Frost. I remember David handing the bassist of CF a tape when they played the Circle A in Dallas with VoiVod and him looking at the Azag Thoth Revelations questioningly. |

David at the practice place we had Arkansas Lane in Arlington. I remember the fire ants where so big I was afraid they'd carry our gear off if we left it in the self storage facility we called a practice room. |

David wrote most of the ER material and was a
pretty amazing prodigy how he had this style of music down at a such an early
age. I think we started playing with him when he was 15.
He's still in high school when this picture was taken.
Notice the mike stand - I think that's Turner Van Blarcum of Talen which later Sedition. He later did the bones & cowheads for Ministry. |

Steve and Chris' butt at the infamous no-show Mace gig.
My contribution to song writing was Rampant Corpse- music and words. Towards the end of the band we worked up two of my songs - Pursuit of the Mind's Eye and Shriek of the Mutilated which I hopefully have a jambox tape of somewhere. PR would later record Pursuit on it's first demo- Of Trine. |

Steve at the tombstone factory 1986. Notice my tiny PV TNT amp which I could almost crush if I accidentally step on it. Notice the orange juice on my giant amp- with no vodka. I remember in SA one time drinking some orange juice outside the club before we were to play and a cop came by me and took the drink and smelled it without even looking at me and then handed it back and headed towards his next victim. |

1986 - Tombstone head banging shot of Steve- I had gotten a perm and I'm still really ashamed about that being that I have super curly hair anyway. |

Mace show- David's thrashin' hard with his Man of War shirt. There's a good shot of Craig Reeves head banging by the monitor. He would play in Process Revealed with me and the bat mastersons. |

Picture taken after the Coppell talent show, Boy, we look tough. I don't know if it counts as a gig but it was the first time we played in front of people. Man, I wish I still had that hair! (Chris, David, Ronny, Steve) Fake blood applied by marker courtesy of David. |

What a bargain!
Chris had a Mac and was able to do great Desktop publishing back at a time when most people couldn't get stuff like this unless they paid a printer for it (we are very spoiled in this day and age with what computers can do now).. Chris designed the ER logo which I still think is pretty amazing and did all the layout the demo. He also did some of the demo covers for Process Revealed. This is a cover he did for Watchtower. |

I have a feeling this picture was taken in McKinney and since we're so mean looking I'd imagine it's an early picture maybe 1985. (Steve, Chris, Ronny, David) |

Eldritch Rite with Buddy on vocal duties, notice in the far right corner I think that's Walt of RottingC moshing... |

Chris Orloski at the Arlington self-storage
room practice room singing through a towel to keep the
feedback to a minimum. Notice Celtic Frost shirt. It was all
about shirts of bands back then. Chris would later start Grey Matter
fanzine while in Austin which was professionally done and printed on
newspaper stock.
Chris wrote all the lyrics except Rampant Corpse. I can't remember the story behind the palm tree I think we inherited it from the previous renters of that space which may have been a band as well. Corpse had its practice place in this location too. |
