The Rotting Corpse Cook Book

My idea for this page is to eventually have some of the crazy stories that we had during our days in the Circus of Fools (aka Rotting Corpse) but since I'm lazy I just put some pictures plus lame commentary.

1987- Rotting Corpse at Heavy Metal Records that used to live next to the Arcadia on Greenville Ave in Dallas.  Notice JohnP's Peavy thrashin' guitar he's turnin next to Moe. Solitude fans can rest easy- John got rid of the Peavy axe when he started up SA that year.
Heavy Metal Records show Grib behind the drums. It's usually hard to get a good shot of the drummer so these shots are really cool from this record store appearance we did.  Grib broke his snare and had to use his bass drum for the last 5 songs.  We played forever that nite because he was moving back to Detroit.  We thought it was our last show with him.
Good head banging shot from the SA show with Dark Angel. (Walt, Roger, Steve) The singer of Dark Angel (Don Dotty) didn't even make the show because of a court case he was involved in concerning a minor if I remember correctly...

Walt during the Dark Angel shows, this was in San Antonio where we constructed the stage.  I think Walt's dad helped us make this stage.  Pretty crazy to think about we not only brought our equipment, the PA but a freaking stage as well!
Walt and Louie standing next to the boat (I know you won't believe this) but we traded to Pantera guys for the studio time for the 2nd demo.  I heard that it later sunk on Joe Pool lake but this may not be true.... (Arlington, TX- Summer 1987)
