Rotting Corpse Flyers 1988 - 1990 (Circus of fools era)

1988 - Ft Worth ,TX- I can't remember this show.  We played several at Joe's with Walt, Luke, Randy and myself.  I have some video of this period which is pretty interesting.  I think I've changed my political views since making this flyer.
1989 Houston, TX-  For this show they had ticket-master like tickets with our name on them.  We played last and the band before us had a drummer who literally put his cage drum set together piece by freaking piece when he set up and when he broke down.  All I got to say if you're in a band put the damn drums together before the show then throw them on stage after the show throw them off then take them apart.

1989 Ft. Worth, TX- Walt was running sound at Joe's Garage so we landed an opening slot in front of Nuclear Assault.  I remember playing so hard that nite and after the show Walt was talking to Danny Likner who remarked he liked our Noisecore.  That was a shot in the shorts but probably the truth!

1989 Corpus Christi, TX- This was one of the craziest trips I had with Corpse!  Walt had a Q-Van he borrowed from a guy in Ft Worth who he ran sound for.  This old thing had sat outside with the gas cap off- ie water in the tank eventually turns to rust.  That nite it was cold and raining.  We had to stop every 30 miles to pull out the filter for the gas tank and wash it off with gas because all the rust on it.  This allowed us to go another 30 miles.  We also had four guys crammed into the 2 seater cab all the way to Corpus. I still have nightmares about sitting on Randy's lap. When we got there we were tired and had to setup the PA.  Of course, we played like crap.  The infamous line from Randy the Grib was uttered there when Luke said that the show wasn't that bad- "SHUT-UP-LUKE-ASSHOLE!!!!"
1990 San Antonio, TX - The last Corpse show. At one point in the show I introduced Walt as the man with no underwear.  A dude in the crowd completely busted me by shouting- "How would you know?"  I didn't say a word after that.  I remember it was pretty small club with maybe 30 more people watching but a cool vibe.  I stole a Blondie poster off the wall there.

(Walt - git & vox; Steve - bass; DaveG - drums with special guest Rodney of Devastation.)
