RC DONNAPALOOZA 4/28/07

RC @ Donnapalooza, Coppell, TX, April 28, 2007 (first ever show without Walter)

I'd like to say we're so grateful for Scott, Rick & Bruce (TMA) taking the time to help us make this show happen. Scott's getting married this week and Beth is a great gal for letting him do this show and she took some great pix to boot. Also, Thrashin Alan did a great job doing Piranha with us with not a single practice beforehand - that's a man of steel if you ask me. A special thanks to Becky Long for taking some great photos & helping Luke get his equipment home (this includes carry the heavy stuff- dude, you are metal!). Ruth and her band of gals did an awesome job organizing the show. It was great to play with MaidenTexxas who feature Ron Harris on drums who I played with before Rotting Corpse in a band called Eldritch Rite.

I also would like to say we are honored that Donna asked us to play. She knows we're praying for her quick recovery.

My dad died almost exactly a year ago from cancer. It's ironic I grew up in Coppell and that we were asked to play a cancer benefit in Coppell a year after he passed. It's tough and it's almost impossible not to have someone near you that has been challenged with this horrible disease. But no matter how good our health may seem to be, we can never know when our number is up. I would recommend to all who read this to consider where they've put their faith and this website is a great place to start if you need some help - needgod.com.
